The Montessori educational philosophy provides education based upon observation of the nature of each child. Manner of teaching is determined based upon each child’s learning style.

 

Global Child Montessori Preschool provides daily exposure to reading, writing, counting, number and letter recognition, geography and the Montessori philosophy of learning. We introduce cultural studies such as botany, zoology, geometry, mathematics, phonetic awareness as well as a large assortment of practical life activities.

 

The children are free to move around the classroom, to converse with others, work with materials they understand or to request a demonstration from the teacher.

 

We teach important life skills, such as the importance of independence, cleanliness, courtesy and orderliness. We foster self-discipline, knowledge and independence, as well as an enthusiasm for learning, an organized approach to problem solving and enhanced academic skills.
